First, contact the vendor or support@optlocal.ca and include your order number to start the return process. Please include your reason for returning the item (Item no longer wanted, Incorrect items shipped, Damaged goods). Next, provide a brief description of why you are returning the item. If you are returning a damaged item, please attach photos of the damaged item(s). Once your return request has been approved, you will receive a printable shipping label via email. *Note If you require a refund, we will refund the debit or credit card used for the purchase. You will receive your refund once the returned items have been received and approved by the vendor. For more information, refer to our return policy.

OptLocal ships everywhere in Canada*. We mail your parcels using Canada Post shipping services. Canada Post provides a quick and reliable experience to get you your package sooner, so you can enjoy the fantastic local products you purchased! *We may not be able to ship large products across Canada due to their size (appliances, large furniture, etc.); please contact the vendor directly for more information about shipping large products.

You have the option to choose your preferred shipping method (Regular, Expedited, Xpresspost, etc.). All items are shipped and fulfilled through Canada post.

As long as your order has not been shipped by the small business vendor, you may be able to change the shipping address for your order. You must contact the vendor or support@optlocal.ca immediately. We cannot guarantee that a shpping label has not already been created and paid for, and if this happens we cannot change your shipping address.

Your products image is first thing a potential customer will see when shopping on OptLocal. It is vital that you give customers a good first impression by displaying a good product image. Products with high-quality images typically get more sales since the seller and the item appear more reputable to the buyer. From time to time we see photos that can often be significantly improved just by improving light or background. Sometimes, only new equipment will help, but it can be done with minimal expense.  Even if you already take good photos of your items, there are likely some tips below that you can use. -Shoot photos on a solid white background -Invest in the proper equipment or hire an experienced photographer -Take extra photos, it's better to show customers more photos of your products as opposed to less photos of your product -Adjust the lighting until the image is clear and there are little to no shadows -Take your time! The perfect shot takes time, so don't rush your photographs.
