How to manage your account and it's features.
First, contact the vendor or support@optlocal.ca and include your order number to start the return process. Please include your reason for returning the item (Item no longer wanted, Incorrect items shipped, Damaged goods). Next, provide a brief description of why you are returning the item. If you are returning a damaged item, please attach photos of the damaged item(s). Once your return request has been approved, you will receive a printable shipping label via email. *Note If you require a refund, we will refund the debit or credit card used for the purchase. You will receive your refund once the returned items have been received and approved by the vendor. For more information, refer to our return policy.
OptLocal was built to work in harmony with your Shopify website. First create a free OptLocal account, then follow this guild to connect your Shopify inventory to OptLocal.

When shopping or browsing on OptLocal, you can access your My Account Overview page by selecting My Account located at the top right hand corner of any page on our site.

Simply click here or click on join free in the top right hand corner of the homepage. Simply follow the prompts to setup your account. In your new vendor account, click settings, then click profile settings and fill out your vendor profile. Now, you can stgart to list your products.
As long as your order has not been shipped by the small business vendor, you may be able to change the shipping address for your order. You must contact the vendor or support@optlocal.ca immediately. We cannot guarantee that a shpping label has not already been created and paid for, and if this happens we cannot change your shipping address.
Product
Your products image is first thing a potential customer will see when shopping on OptLocal. It is vital that you give customers a good first impression by displaying a good product image. Products with high-quality images typically get more sales since the seller and the item appear more reputable to the buyer. From time to time we see photos that can often be significantly improved just by improving light or background. Sometimes, only new equipment will help, but it can be done with minimal expense. Even if you already take good photos of your items, there are likely some tips below that you can use. -Shoot photos on a solid white background -Invest in the proper equipment or hire an experienced photographer -Take extra photos, it's better to show customers more photos of your products as opposed to less photos of your product -Adjust the lighting until the image is clear and there are little to no shadows -Take your time! The perfect shot takes time, so don't rush your photographs.

No problem. OptLocal has a site-wide return policy that states that a buyer may return an item for any reason by contacting the vendor or support@optlocal.ca within 30 days of purchasing the item. Our policy also includes helpful step-by-step guidelines to ensure a smooth return process, and a pleasant buying experience. For more information on returns click here.
Shops who choose to close permanently will receive their weekly payout for sales completed for the previous weeks pay period.
Paid options such as premium services and memberships are non-refundable.
